GRUFLETS

The GRUFC Junior program plays in the Rockhampton Competition which generally starts in September through to November.

First joining the Junior comp in 2010 with just an Under 18 side, we have been able to slowly build up to now fielding an Under 17, Under 15 and an Under 13 side. In 2015, the Under 17's were Grand Finalists with our newly appointed Under 13's making the Semi Finals. 2016 saw the Grufc field quite successfully their first Under 11's pathways side to Rockhampton. Pathways (U5's to U11's) is a slightly modified version of rugby to help with the development at such a young age.

The Junior program also allows all of the players the opportunity to be seen and selected for representative honours like the Junior Gold program.

The signup link to the left has been deactivated until our next season begins. All registrations must be online from here on out. Smart Rugby is now also being offered online. For any volunteers, coaches, club members/players, trainers etc. who will be involved with the Grufc. Smart Rugby is Australian Rugby’s free Occupational Health & Safety program which helps to provide a safe environment for all players at all levels. It is a mandatory requirement for all coaches and persons entering the playing arena to have a current Smart Rugby accreditation.
